AWS Certification Testing

Virginia Western Community College (VWCC) wants to continue to support previous students and those who have proven experience in the trades. Some Welders have the experience and knowledge already to test for an AWS Certification and don’t need to learn the theory. This class is meant for those individuals who already have the experience and knowledge to successfully test for an AWS Certification in one of the following: FCAW, GTAW, or SMAW, up to a 3/8-inch plate.

There will be no instruction included in this class, it is Test Only over a four-hour period for a single process. After registration students should sign up with the link in the Notice section or the email the students will receive after registration.

Items Students must Purchase:
  • Needed Welding PPE
Tuition Includes:
  • AWS Certification of a single process by Certified Welding Inspector
