Earning the CompTIA Security+ certification demonstrates proof of your expertise in network security and risk management topics, such as communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography, access control, authentication, external attack, and operational security. This course prepares you for the CompTIA Security+ Exam. Need to have previous Networking experience.

LEARN HOW TO:
  • Identify the fundamental components of and threats to information security
  • Conduct security assessments to detect vulnerabilities and analyze risks
  • Implement security for hosts, software, networks, cryptographic solutions
  • Manage identity and access and address security incidents
STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE: Must have regular access to a computer or computer lab to take this course.  
 
TUITION INCLUDES: Tuition includes: ebook, virtual lab access, and exam voucher. 

CLASS PREREQUISITES OR COREQUISTIES:
Students interested in taking this class must have one of the following:
  • Previous Networking Experience
  • Minimum of two years on-the-job work experience in information security
  • Degree (AS, BA, BS) in IT, Computer Science, or Cyber Security
