Most American Welding Society (AWS) Welding Processes need to be recertified every 6 months. Virginia Western Community College (VWCC) has AWS Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI) prepared to certify your continued proficiency in all AWS processes at the Greenfield Training Center.
VWCC staff will help you through the renewal paperwork on the same day as recertification with the CWI. Keep your certifications up to date and rely on VWCC to continue to make sure you are continuously marketable as a Certified AWS Welder.

Students will be expected to sign up for an hour slot of time in the lab during the day of class. Their recertification and paperwork processing will be done during this hour. After registration students should sign up with the link in the Notice section or the email the student will receive after registration.
