« back to courses page

Applied Mechatronics is a practical, interdisciplinary course that focuses on the integration of mechanical systems, fluid power, and automated control technologies used in modern industry. Students will explore how mechanical components provide structure and motion, how hydraulic and pneumatic systems generate and control force, and how Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and smart sensors enable monitoring and automation of equipment. Emphasis is placed on real-world applications, including the operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of automated systems commonly found in manufacturing and industrial environments.
