Become a heavy equipment operator and earn two industry recognized credentials. The Heavy Equipment Operator Level 1 program was developed to meet the growing employment demands for equipment operators. The two co-requisite classes serve as entry level training for Heavy Equipment Operator jobs. Students will learn the following content in a self-paced, web-based learning system: orientation to construction trades, basic use of hand and power tools and safety on the job. Must take the two classes at the same time (co-requisites): - Heavy Equipment Operator - Core Skills - Heavy Equipment Operator Level 1 Note that both courses may not show below, as one may technically fall into the following academic semester. Prerequisites: Must be 18 years of age upon program completion and have an understanding of computers (used for class) and basic math.
