Start here if you are considering a career in IT or seeking a broader understanding of IT. This course will provide you with the fundamental technical knowledge about personal computers that you need to work efficiently with computers and determine if IT is the right field for you. IT Fundamentals is the stepping stone to, and recommended prerequisite for, CompTIA A+.

You will gain the skills to:

• Identify computer components, applications, and operating systems
• Install software & troubleshoot common issues
• Establish a secure network
• Identify basic security issues and threats
• Understand IT career pathways

***Must have access to computer or computer lab to complete homework.
