Supervisory skills are in high demand across all industry sectors in the Roanoke Valley. Whether you work in healthcare, manufacturing, retail, education, IT, banking, or any other industry, chances are you will be called upon to supervise one or more colleagues at some point in your career.

Becoming a Supervisor: Transform Yourself, is designed for working adults and delivered in an interactive workshop-style format––a MUST TAKE for supervisors with entry to intermediate levels of experience, and for those recently thrust into the position of leading with limited formal leadership experience.

Regardless of educational background, successful participants will learn the skills and behaviors required to be a supervisor, and identify strategies for successfully transitioning from peer to leader; define their personal brand, discover alignment with their organizational brand, and how that delta can give meaning and direction to their work; describe communication styles and how to adapt to people in a way that will reduce tension and increase cooperation; practice communication skills; better understand the concepts and skills behind emotional intelligence—the hidden keys to success; and become more familiar and adept at working with teams—the essence of modern business!  Invest in yourself!  This six-session workshop is led by an expert in the skills YOU need to succeed.
